Yr Aflonyddwch Mawr Statement on Newport Chartist Mural

Yr Aflonyddwch Mawr -The Great Unrest Group says Newport Council does not have the will to save the mural and relocate it to their new Shopping centre .

It looks as if the mural will be destroyed, there needs to be a protest campaign to halt such destruction and to save the Mural for the Nation, maybe in grounds of National History Museum (St Fagan) or Cardiff National Arts Museum (Ex Nat Museum of Wales) if no site in Newport available?

  1. Sorry so far we are. Please guide us all readers to whom we ought to write what sort of protest letters or, letters of solidarity or whatever useful to act accordingly.
Remember how Mohawk nation resisted Golf game ground that would destroy their ancestor's graves and memory stones? Few they were, few guns they had and heroically they died. I just remembered the incident.
Such heroic actions could be productive or, at times false. For example some revolutionaries in Iran lost more than four hundred by trying to uphold a city in the north of Iran, Amol. Militancy is not always the most productive ways. At occasions like Siahkal in Iran or, Naxalbary in India, they can make historical openning chapter for the movement but, at times it could be losing a handful of comrades who play key roles in workers or.... unity and struggles that are vital and not developed enough. I only remembered Mohawks but, comrades do what is the best and we are ready to write letters and petitions that are rolling Red Salute

  2. Sign the petition on this site if you are overseas - local people should sign petition and attend protests
